Google Keep: your new best friend
Every time I create a new account with something online, I add the login information into my note called Passwords. You can also generate checklists in Google Keep. As you complete tasks, you can check them off your list.
Notes in Google Keep can be color coded. They can also be tagged with labels that you create. For example, I have a label called Professional Development. Anytime I add a related note to my collection, I tag it so it can easily be located in the future.
Google Keep also offers collaboration. You can share a note with someone and give them editing privileges. All contributors can add content to the note, check things off the list, add images, etc.
You can pin notes to the top of your Keep collection. For example, I have a note that contains an image of our weekly bell schedule. I pinned it to the top of my collection so it always lives at the top. You rearrange the order of your notes by dragging and dropping.
Google Keep can be found in Self Service on our iPads, making it easy to use Keep on your desktop computer and your iPad. You can also add Keep to your smartphone. I have it installed on my iPhone and use it all the time to add items to my school notes.
I couldn't live without Google Keep. I use it numerous times per day. Give it a test run this week, and you'll never look back!
